He was predeceased by: his parents, Grant Mortensen and Louise Mortensen; and his wife Alice Rae Hutchins. He is survived by: his children, David Mortensen (Valorie) of Dolores, CO, Shane Mortensen (Jamie) of Sanford, CO, Lorin Mortensen (Rebecca) of Smithfield, UT and Keri Connolly (Sean); and his brothers, Bill Mortensen (Julie) of Sanford, CO, Carl Mortensen (Carlene) of Lubbock, TX and Lars Mortensen (Valorie) of Hyrum, UT. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren and 36 great grandchildren.
