He was predeceased by: his parents, Dwight Leech and Elsie Mae Knight Leech; his siblings, Donald Leech, Shirley Bailey, Rex Leech and Mary Elizabeth Leech; and his granddaughter Sarah Victoria Leech.

He is survived by: his wife Elaine Shawcroft of La Jara; his children, Seth Leech (Elizabeth) of Aurora, CO, Gretchen Wilson (Christopher) of Aurora, CO and Jonathan Leech of Pueblo, CO; his grandchildren, Eric of Aurora, CO, Juliana of Aurora, CO, Russell of Aurora, CO, Scott of Aurora, CO, Mark Leech of Aurora, CO, Hannah of Aurora, CO and Caitlin Wilson of Aurora, CO; and his sisters, Linda Leech of Moab, Utah and Carolyn Stiles of Moab, Utah. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and in-laws.
