He was predeceased by: his parents, Adolpho Espinoza and Eufelia Espinoza; his son Charles Espinoza Jr.; and his siblings, Alonzo Espinoza, Federico Espinoza, Junior Espinoza and Shirley Espinoza.
He is survived by: his wife Olivia Espinoza of San Luis, CO; his children, Norma Ramirez (Joseph Quintana) of San Luis, CO, Rick Espinoza (Delma) of McAllen, TX and Randy Espinoza of San Luis, CO; and his sister Bertha Maez of Denver, CO.. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
