She was predeceased by: her parents, Patricio Atencio and Rosanita Sanchez Atencio; her husband Gabriel Medina; and her sons, Albert and Karl Medina.

She is survived by: her children, Patricia Barnett (Hal) of Fountain, CO., Amos Medina (Lydia) of Aurora, CO., Ernest Medina (Zolanda) of Peyton, CO. and Randy Medina (Lisa) of Littleton, CO.; and her grandchildren, Albert, Pamela, Jason, Brandon, Carlos, Noah and Celena Medina. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews and cousins.
