He was predeceased by: his parents, Leo Romero and Mary Romero; and his niece Lisa Barela. He is survived by: his daughters, Lorroya Martinez (Jose) of San Luis, CO, Shania Gonzales-Romero of San Luis, CO, Deni-Leigh Gonzales-Romero of San Luis, CO and Adelia Romero of San Luis, CO; his granddaughter Jacklin Johnson; and his siblings, Evelyna Mondragon (Frank) of Pueblo, CO, Julie Lopez (Arnold) of Denver, CO, Dolores Barela (Ron) of Denver, CO, Annette Cariño (Steven) of San Luis, CO, Juanita Sanchez (Casey) of San Luis, CO and Jimmie Romero (Ruby Vigil) of Amalia, NM. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
