He was predeceased by: his parents, Don Vigil and Beatrice Vigil (Gallegos); his wife Dorothy Vigil; and his siblings, Ernest Vigil (Bertha), Ben Vigil (Clara), Patsy Trujillo (Toby), Virginia Reninger, Cleo Lucero, Helen Marques (Joe), Cordi Salazar, Albert Vigil and Andrea Vigil.

He is survived by: his children, Henry Vigil (Jackie) of McMinnville, Dennis Pello of Salida, John Pello (Lorraine) of Arvada, Josephine Murray (Don) of Brighton and Michell Carothers (Nolan) of Wheatridge. He is also survived by fourteen grandchildren, twenty-seven grandchildren and one great- great grandchild as well as numerous nieces, nephews.
