He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Baker and Selma Baker (Forsbeck); and his daughter Ann. He is survived by: his wife Linda; his children, Laura (Jim Carpenter), Scott Baker (Shasta), Bonny McLoud, Tressa Smith (Bryan) and Shane Fowler; and his siblings, Melvin Baker (Ceci), Keith Baker (Frankie) and Earleen McCoy. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Presbyterian Church (7 Poncha Blvd, Salida, CO 81201).

He was a member of the Colorado Bar Association and the Colorado Bar Foundation and Member of the State Affairs Committee.
