He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe Ordaz and Bernie Ordaz; his parents-in-law, Adelaido and Clara Aragon; and his son Chris Ordaz.

He is survived by: his wife Joanna Aragon Ordaz; his daughter Jamie Giorno; his son-in-law Frank Giorno; his siblings, Sylvia Luna and Dave Ordaz (Cindy); and his great grandchildren, Ashlynn, Caroline, Cade, Olivia, Kynzlee and Oaklyn.
