He was predeceased by: his parents, Mac Borunda and Annita Borunda; his wife Roberta Borunda; his son Jake Borunda; and his brother Gilbert Borunda.
He is survived by: his brother Ernesto Borunda; his children, Trina Penunuri (Robert), Jerry Borunda and Teri Fitzpatrick (Donald); his stepdaughters, Lora Dowe (Lance) and Tracey Schoen (Andy); his granddaughters, Andrea Penunuri, Beth Penunuri and Virginia Borunda-McEwen (Mitch); and his great grandchildren, Jagger Fernandez, Taylor McEwen, Olivia McEwen, Haley Dowe, Kylie Dowe and Savanah Schoen.
