He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Bell and Martha Bell of Salida; and his wife Lynne Bell (Ticky) of Salida, Colorado.. He is survived by: his sons, Gordon Bell (Marsha) and Arlo Bell; his grandchildren, Nikki, Andrew, Brendon, Jesse and Jaden Bell; his siblings, Clarence Bell and Marlene Stoessel; his sister-in-law Readon Magneson; and his friend Sharon Parker. He is also survived by numerous other nieces and nephews.
