Carlene Keefer Obituary

We are sad to announce that on September 24, 2020, at the age of 98, Carlene Keefer of Salida, Colorado, born in Wheatland, Wyoming passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Carlene Keefer to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her stepbrother Kirby; her stepdaughter Deb Keefer; and her granddaughter Jenette Collett. She is survived by: her former husband Harry Cummings; her daughter Diane; her former spouse Hilly Fender; her husband Chuck Keefer; her stepdaughter Sandy Collet (Craig) of Dutch John, Utah; and her grandchildren, Carol Hawkins (Lennie), Stacey Klim (Kevin), Melody Nottage (Craig), Rodney Wilhelm (Nyla), Louise Kiser (Tony), Leisl Sanders (Ron), Chris Collett (Janalee), Danielle Kinder (John Hull), Camille Browning (Ken), Maretta Bair (Woody), Chelsey Davis (Tanner), Vanessa Coulter (Bill), Nicole Knafic (Randy) and Mickey Nussbaumer. She is also survived by numerous great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren.

Carlene graduated from Wheatland High School in 1940 and attended many all school and class reunions until 2020 when the reunions were cancelled d/t the COVID restrictions.

In lieu of floral gifts the family requests donations to the Salida Pregnancy Resource Center and First Christian Church of Wheatland.
