It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Aspen Jones-Kirkendall (Rye, Colorado), who passed away on February 23, 2018, at the age of 19, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her siblings, Jacelyn Marie and Devin Jones. She is survived by: her parents, Chad Kirkendall and Amanda Kirkendall; her siblings, Malynda, Colton and Logan; her grandparents, William Wilson, Marilyn Wilson, Gary Johnson, Carol Johnson, Mike Kirkendall, Donna Kirkendall and Cheryl McPherson; and also Josh Jones.

“I personally do not know Aspen really well but I do know that she was an amazing friend. I remember this one day in ceramics class I remembered her finish this beautiful ceramic bowl and she even let me keep it witch was great. but when I heard that she had passed away in a crash I was heartbroken. I even wrote a song about her. it was called I love you {Aspen} From that day forward I had missed her really much. till this day I still have that ceramic bowl that she made. it reminds me of her.”
