She was predeceased by: her parents, Alma Gutierrez Sr. (Whatley) and Arthur Gutierrez Sr.; her brother Carlos Gutierrez; her father-in-law Joe P Gallegos; her brother-in-law Nathan Cole; and her great-niece Armani Gutierrez-Chavez.
She is survived by: her children, Krystal Gallegos and Philip Gallegos; her grandchildren, Kiana Cordova and Chloe Nunez; her former husband James Gallegos; her siblings, Lorraine Gutierrez, Arthur Gutierrez Jr. and Robert Gutierrez (Jeanette); her grandsons, Kamryn Cordova and Zeke Gallegos; and her godsons, Mark Gutierrez, Michael Martinez, Matthew Martinez, Mario and Carlos Gutierrez Jr..
