He is survived by: his children, Vanessa Tafoya of Rocky Ford and Chaplain Matthew Maestas (Melissa) of Chula Vista, CA; his grandchildren, Randy Ray Robinson of Rocky Ford, Makayla Maestas of Chula Vista, CA, Malaki Maestas and Mavrik Maestas of Chula Vista; his pets, George and Lola Cabana; his siblings, Delavina Ramirez of La Junta, William Maestas of Rocky Ford and MaryLou Ramirez (Sam) of La Junta; his mother-in-law Grace Martinez of Rocky Ford; his brothers-in-law, Jose Martinez (Annette) of Denver, Alfonso Martinez (Christy) of Castle Pines and Patrick Martinez of Littleton; his godchildren, Martha Ontiveros (Bert) of Brighton, Bernadett Becerra-Salazar (Michael) of Rocky Ford and Joey Tafoya (Candy) of Ordway; and his close friends, Mark Johnston, Joe Romero, Cornelia Jaramillo, Sherri Adame (Aaron) and Alex Baca.
