With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Opal Switser (Rocky Ford, Colorado), born in Fairland, Oklahoma, who passed away on June 29, 2021 at the age of 100. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Opal Switser to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Youngblood and Pearl Youngblood (King); her children, Gary and Linda; and her husband Albert of Cheraw.
She is survived by: her daughter Kathy (Jim) of Monument; her daughter-in-law Francie of Littleton; her grandchildren, Tricia Linsley (Kevin) of Fairfax, VA, Mark Steward (Bonnie) of Colorado Springs, Kelli Kane (Garrett) of Lone Tree and Kristi McLaughlin (Shawn) of Littleton; and her great grandchildren, Aidan, Brennan Linsley, A. J., Jenna Steward, Alexa, Mason Kane and Max McLaughlin. She is also survived by Her daughter, grandchildren, and some of the great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the First Baptist Church in Rocky Ford.
