She was predeceased by: her parents, Dave Zimmerman and Erma Zimmerman; and her brother Carl Zimmerman, Sr.. She is survived by: her husband Harry Nelson; her sisters, Esther Roberts of Rocky Ford and Wilma Scarbourgh (Gary) of Post Falls, ID; and her nieces and nephews, Carl H. Zimmerman, Jr. of Pueblo, Randy Zimmerman of Rocky Ford, Tyler Zimmerman of Pueblo, Becky Keating (Mike), Ruth Shannon (John) of Kim and Debbie Footit (Mike) of Plainfield, WI. She is also survived by numerous great-nieces and great-nephews and 1 cousin.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 24th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Bellwood Ustick Funeral Home (305 N 8th St, Rocky Ford, CO 81067).
