She was predeceased by: her parents, Murrel Anderson and Mina Anderson; her former husband Leonard P. "Bud" Van Dyk; and her husband Samuel Portner. She is survived by: her children, Neil Van Dyk (Nancy) of Rocky Ford and Laurie Maxfield (Steve) of Monte Vista; her grandchildren, Eric Van Dyk (Shayla), Nicholas Van Dyk (Jenn), Russell Van Dyk (Diane Crow) and Stephanie Maxfield (Thor Martinez); and her great grandchildren, Cayson Van Dyk, Grady Van Dyk, Dutch Van Dyk and Taylor Van Dyk. She is also survived by numerous step grandchildren, great-grandchildren & great-great-grandchildren.
