He was predeceased by: his father Tomas D. Montez, Sr.; and his brother Tomas D. Montez, Jr.. He is survived by: his mother Estella Montez; his sister Feliz Maes (Joel) of Pueblo; his wife Angie Montez; his children, Jeff Montez (Lily) of Littleton, Eric Montez of Pueblo and Michaela Montez of Fowler; and his grandchildren, Jackie Montez, Dion Montez, Jordan Montez, Logan Hill and Lauren Hill.
