She was predeceased by: her mother Dorothy Love; and her brother Danny Messick. She is survived by: her sons, Jared Messick (Rebecca) of Rocky Ford and Robby Hasty of Buena Vista; and her siblings, Julie and Mike Messick (Sandy) of Cheraw. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren.
She made baby blankets for anyone who needed them, she donated blankets to the nursing homes.
