It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Luis Eugene Jaramillo of Rocky Ford, Colorado, born in Las Vegas, New Mexico, who passed away on August 1, 2020, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Guadalupe Jaramillo (Sandoval) and Regino Jaramillo; his son Henry Jaramillo; his siblings, Angie Marquez, Priscilla Encinias, Emilio, Elias, Raymond and David Jaramillo; and his grandson Domingo Jaramillo.
He is survived by: his wife Della Jaramillo (Encinias); his children, Cathy Lara (Joey) of Rocky Ford, CO, Sandy Gallegos (Gilbert) of Rocky Ford, CO, Donna Baca (Daniel) of Rocky Ford, CO, Connie Garcia (Jimmy) of Rocky Ford, CO, Rita Medina (Darrin) of Rocky Ford, CO, Nancy Andrews (Jack Barker) of Rocky Ford, CO, Randy Jaramillo (Jennifer Duran) of Ordway, CO, Hazel Martinez (Robert) of Rocky Ford, CO, Edward Jaramillo (Sandra) of Rocky Ford, CO, Roy Jaramillo, Jr. of Rocky Ford, CO and Steve Jaramillo of Rocky Ford, CO; and his sister Josephine Cordova (Chris) of Kansas. He is also survived by 30 Grandchildren; numerous Great-Grandchildren and Great-Great-Grandchildren.
