It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lou Iva Markert (Rocky Ford, Colorado), who passed away on July 24, 2018, at the age of 102, leaving to mourn family and friends. She is survived by: her husband Dale Markert; her children, Vicki and Steve (Sandy); her grandchildren, Mark, Eric (Susan), Katrina (Patrick), Steve (Chie) and Chris; her great grandchildren, Lindsay and Alex; and also, Sam, Iva, Bingo and Dale.
