He was predeceased by: his parents, Eiroku Ashida and Toki Ashida (Yuto); his siblings, Hideo (Amy), Noboru (Kathleen), George, Tom, Sam (Lila), James (Geneva), Mary and Rose Wilson (Jack); and his brother-in-law Kiyoshi Shioshita.
He is survived by: his siblings, Lucky, Henry, Hideko and Judy. He is also survived by many nephews, nieces, great nephews and great nieces.
