It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Josephine Hope Swartzendruber of Rocky Ford, Colorado, born in Kenmare, North Dakota, who passed away on October 28, 2020, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Stella Lehman (Sharp) and Joseph Lehman; her former husband Ernest; and her siblings, Revel, David Lehman, Ruth Buller, Genevieve Buckwalter and Ethel Slabaugh.

She is survived by: her husband Emery; her children, Dan (Becky Swartzendruber) of Rocky Ford, CO, Carol (John Yost) of Moundridge, KS, Elaine (Steve Miller) of Rocky Ford, CO and Sue Swartzendruber of Rocky Ford, CO; her sister Mary Handrich; her grandchildren, Beth, David Swartzendruber, Amy Garard, Janette Larison and Grant Yost; and her brother-in-law Dan Slabaugh. She is also survived by 8 great - grandchildren.
