He was predeceased by: his parents, Dosie Gonzales and Margaret Gonzales; and his siblings, James Gonzales, Raymond Gonzales, Johnny Gonzales and Maria Gonzales.
He is survived by: his wife Virginia Gonzales; his sons, Jose Gonzales Jr., James Gonzales (Debbie) and Michael Gonzales (Sheila); and his siblings, Dennis Gonzales, Richard Gonzales, Jerry Gonzales, Robert Gonzales and Gloria Navaro. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 11 greatgrandchildren.
