With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jarold Sitton of Rocky Ford, Colorado, born in La Junta, Colorado, who passed away on November 12, 2023 at the age of 85. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Jarold Sitton to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Bert Sitton and Leola Sitton; his wife Donna Sitton; and his sister Beth Mae Sitton. He is survived by: his daughters, Jerolyn Lockhart (John) of Las Animas, Teresa Martinez of Pierceville, KS and Donna Lundgren of Rocky Ford; and his grandchildren, Aaron Lockhart (Areasha), Joshua Lockhart, Victor Romero, Linda (Karen Lundgren), Abraham Martinez and Caleb Martinez (Rosie).
The family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations be made in his name to First Baptist Church, 966 Maple Ave., Rocky Ford, CO 81067, or to donate to the Jerry Sitton Tree Memorial, C/O First National Bank, 300 N. Main St., Rocky Ford, CO 81067 for a tree to be planted at the golf course in his memory.
