With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James Moreland of Rocky Ford, Colorado, born in La Junta, Colorado, who passed away on May 17, 2024 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Ray Moreland and Evelyn Moreland (Culverwell); and his brother Edward Moreland. He is survived by: his wife Marjorie Moreland of Rocky Ford; his sons, Jon Moreland of Rocky Ford, Jeff Moreland (Becca) of Golden and Brett Moreland (Margie) of Pueblo; his grandchildren, Vanessa Rodriguez (Juan) of Pueblo, Max Moreland of Spokane, WA, Emily Moreland of Rocky Ford, Gracie Moreland of Rocky Ford and Finnegan Moreland of Golden; and his great grandchildren, Carmyn, Juan Allen and Issac Rodriguez of Pueblo.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made to/checks payable to: The Rocky Ford Elks Club Building Fund, 301 North 9th St., Rocky Ford, Colorado 81067 in honor of Jim's life and dedication to his community.
