She was predeceased by: her parents, Genevieve Chavez (Barela) and Estanislao Chavez; her spouse Guadalupe Hernandez Gabaldon; her daughter Pauline Lucero; and her siblings, Arlene, Mary, Edith, Tony, Ed, Manuel and Ernest.
She is survived by: her daughters, Lupe Acosta of Pueblo, Alice (Adolph Berumen) of Pueblo, Rebecca (Michael Aragon) of Albuquerque, NM and Christine Gabaldon (David Barela) of Rocky Ford, CO; and her sister Patsy (Manuel Zarate) of Cheyenne, WY. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren; 27 great - grandchildren and 12 great - great - grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins.
Due to Covid - 19, the family does request that masks are worn and that you practice social distancing.
