With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Frances DeHerrera of Rocky Ford, Colorado, born in Valmora, New Mexico, who passed away on January 30, 2023 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Samuel Gurule and Gertrude Gurule; her husband Toby DeHerrera; her son Toby DeHerrera; her grandchildren, Toby DeHerrera, Jr. and Amy Espinoza; and her siblings, Samuel Gurule and Helen Norris.
She is survived by: her children, Carol Lundquist of Rocky Ford, Susan DeHerrera of Rocky Ford, Thomas DeHerrera of Rocky Ford and Andrew DeHerrera of Denver; her siblings, Jim Gurule and Tonie Dominguez; her siblings-in-law, Erlinda, Jose Lopez, Gloria Lopez and Vita DeHerrera; her cousin Dolly Lucero; her friend Grace Martinez; and also Mario Lucero. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild.
