It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elizabeth Hirakata of Rocky Ford, Colorado, who passed away on March 20, 2024, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Sylvester Licano and Reyes Licano; and her siblings, Irma Edwards, Raymond Licano, Richard Licano and Jobe Licano.
She is survived by: her husband Jerre Hirakata; her children, Michael Hirakata of Rocky Ford and Gail Contreras of Pueblo; and her siblings, Gilbert Licano (Rocky) of Seattle, WA, Ozy Licano of Las Vegas, NV, Obed Licano of El Paso, TX and Ruth Licano of Pueblo. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren.
