With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Dennis Marquez of Rocky Ford, Colorado, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 5, 2024 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Dennis leaves behind and his impact on the lives of his loved ones. Though Dennis may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the memories held dear by his family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Guadalupe Marquez and Mary Marquez; and his son PJ Marquez. He is survived by: his siblings, Luz Gonzales, Esther Montoya and George Marquez; his wife Vickie Marquez; his children, Nina Anderson (Brad) of Pueblo and David Marquez (Yulessa) of La Junta; his grandchildren, Brandy MacDonald, Russell Boley and Alexis Anderson; and his great grandchild Quinn Griffin.
A funeral service was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the St. Peter's Catholic Church (1209 Swink Ave, Rocky Ford, CO 81067).
