He is survived by: his wife Laura Mendenhall; his daughter Taylor Mendenhall; his sisters, Mary Mendenhall (Hal Howard) of Portland, OR and Lynn Mendenhall (Olivier Katz) of Denver, CO; his nieces, Lucy Howard (Jack Hollowell) and Ellen Howard of Portland, OR; his nephew Henri Katz (Sarah) of Boulder, CO; and his great-nephew David Hollowell.
