He was predeceased by: his parents, Lucille (Abert) and Charles Marion Zimmerman, Sr.; his siblings, Vance Zimmerman and Darliene Thielman; and his brothers-in-law, Kenneth Thielman, Melson Hyde, Bill Doering and Wayne LeHew.
He is survived by: his wife Gail Caldwell; his daughter Leah Rae (Joey Johnson) of Frisco, TX; his grandson Chad Michael; his son Chad (Nicole Zimmerman) of Rocky Ford; his sisters, Twyla Hyde of Deer Park, WA, Marceline Doering of Carmichael, CA and Teresa LeHew of Martinsburg, WV; his siblings-in-law, Mary Ann Zimmerman of Rocky Ford, Dennis Caldwell (Debbie) of Rocky Ford, Wayne Caldwell of Cheyenne Wells, CO and Gary Caldwell (Joyce) of Rocky Ford; and also Chuck. He is also survived by many cousins and numerous nieces and nephews.
