It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Karen Ann Hardrick (Rifle, Colorado), born in Grand Junction, Colorado, who passed away on April 3, 2023, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Orville Altenbern and Helen Altenbern (Chadwick); and her daughter Joy Hardrick. She is survived by: her friends, Forth of July's, Alterbern Ranch and Carr Creek; her husband Frank Hardrick; her son Larry Hardrick (Rebecca); her grandchildren, Brett Hardrick and Raynee Kirkland (Kelton); her great grandchildren, Madison, Chloe and Bryson; her brother Max Altenbern (Jerrie); her nephews, Clay Altenbern and Kevin Pitman (Jena); her great-nephew Brent; her nieces, Terri Baker (Ken) and Stefanie Thorpe (Butch); her great-nephew Zack Thorpe (Kendra); and her sister-in-law Myrna Altenbern (Leo).
