He was predeceased by: his parents, William Sorenson and Alice Sorenson; and his former wife Joretta Sorenson (Watkins). He is survived by: his wife Carolyn; his daughter Shelley Ratliff (Greg); his granddaughters, Brittany Martinez (Mario) and Sabrina (Bryan); and his great grandchildren, Dayshia Martinez, Tatum Martinez, Ethan Martinez, Saige Watson (Texas) and Emerson Watson (Texas).

In lieu of food and flowers, contributions may be made to Sangre de Cristo Community Care, 1920 Valley Drive, Pueblo, Colorado, 81008.
