He was predeceased by: his siblings, Audrey, June, Don and Ruth; and his parents, Gisle Johnson and Delina Johnson.
He is survived by: his wife Rena "Renie" Pendarvis Johnson; his son Col. A. J. "Tony" Johnson (Julie); his grandchildren, Anthony (Cristina), Luke (Brooklyn), Isaac, Sam (Sara), Maggie (John), Catherine (Hudson), Esther and Joseph; and his pets, Duffy and Daisy. He is also survived by great-grandchildren.
