Viewing was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 at 9:00 AM at the St. Pius X Catholic Church (3130 Morris Ave, Pueblo, CO 81008). A rosary was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 at 9:30 AM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Thomas Neil Compton may be made to St. Anthony's Church, 343 N. Monitor, West Point, NE 68788.

“It is my deepest sympathy to Esther and her family on the passing of Tom. Tom and I attended school together at Holy Trinity high school in Trinidad. We were not only classmates, but also good friends. As I think about the events following our school days, Tom was always present at the functions. He was a member of Friends of Historical Trinidad during my presidency , and he attended the annual picnic and luncheon. It was always so good to see him and reminisce. May he rest in peace!”
