He was predeceased by: his mother MaryJane Salazar; his brothers, Orville and Randal Salazar; and his brothers-in-law, John Herrera and Tony Gurule.
He is survived by: his son Rudy (Steve); his grandson Kyler Wetz; his siblings, Norma Herrera, Anna Salazar and Melvin Salazar; and his godchildren, Bianca Minjarez (John) and Julian Gurule. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family.
