He is survived by: his wife Patty Chavez; his children, Angelica and Randy Chavez Jr.; his parents, Alex Chavez and Mary Chavez; his siblings, Vivian Chavez, Brenda Garcia (Tim), Shari Chavez (Ed), Russell Chavez (Alicia) and Susie Chavez; and his pet Tila. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, extended family.

A memorial service was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Romero Family Funeral Home (110 Cleveland St, Pueblo, CO 81004).
