She was predeceased by: her parents, Leonard Vera and Alice Vera; her sister Rebecca Vera; her son Eric Aaron Vera; her former husband Joe Santistevan; her nieces, Shawna Lynn Arellano and Elisia Maria Pineda; and her close friend Miguel Ponce.
She is survived by: her children, John "Jay" Vera and Sabrina Summers (Trevor); her grandsons, Mario Archuleta (Sierra Gonzales) and Silvano Archuleta (Nikki Cervantes); and her sisters, Evelyn Arellano (John), Lisa Pineda (Eric), Lorraine Swift (Fil) and Carmen Salazar (Sotero). She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family.
Viewing was held on Monday, November 25th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Romero Family Funeral Home (110 Cleveland St, Pueblo, CO 81004). A funeral service was held on Monday, November 25th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location.
