She was predeceased by: her husband Tim Vigil; her son Phillip R. Vigil; her parents, Felix Chavez and Cleotilda Chavez; and her siblings, Orlinda Salazar, Fred Chavez, Henry Chavez and John Chavez.
She is survived by: her children, Betty Dechant, Tim Vigil Jr. (Julie), Lorraine Vigil, Geri Vigil and Lloyd Vigil (Berlinda); and her siblings, Abel Chavez (Priscilla), Nancy Archuleta, Grace Vigil, Joseph Chavez and Jerry Chavez. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren; 27 great grandchildren; 17 great-great grandchildren.
