She was predeceased by: her mother Consuelo "Connie" Espinoza; and her sister Mamie Cooke-Carter. She is survived by: her husband Allen Garnes; her daughters, Johnette Espinoza Lopez (Francisco Lopez) and Jazzmine Garnes; her grandson Jimmy Espinoza Lopez; her father Francisco Espinoza; and her nephews, Aaron Cooke Jr. and Brice Cooke. She is also survived by her daughters and grandson.
