He was predeceased by: his son Joseph Manuel Romero "Joey"; his parents, Joseph Romero and Dora Romero; his son-in-law Mark Morita "Pineapple"; the mother of his children Judy Romero; and his sisters, Nancy and Jane.
He is survived by: his daughters, Kimberly Morita "RoRo" and Chantalle Navarrete (Johnny); his grandchildren, Joshua Jayden (Esmeralda), Tiera and Jojo; and his brother-in-law Larry Romero. He is also survived by Numerous nieces and nephews, his GDI brothers; extended family.
