He is survived by: his wife Madelyn Gifford; his children, Ed Gifford (Monique), Joe Gifford, Cindy Pacheco (Gil), Roger Gifford (Cindy), Steven Gifford and Ben Galindo (JoAnn); his grandchildren, Leroy (Paula), Valerie (Anthony), Libby (Chris), Eddie and Dax; his pet Pepper; and his close friends, Bob Aranda, Vince Arellano and Robert Vigil. He is also survived by numerous great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
