He was predeceased by: his parents, Loran Chavez and Ceclia Chavez; and his brother-in-law Clarence Vialpando. He is survived by: his wife Roberta Chavez; his children, Julie Chavez (Desiree), Laura Chavez, Crystal Chavez (Chris), Tino Almanza (Jennifer) and Shelly Guerrero (Khristin); his grandchildren, Darren, Lauren, Logan, Riley, Liam, Julyan, Aiden, Nemesio and Gianna; and his siblings, Karen Vialpando, Lawrence Chavez (Vickie), Eugene Chavez and Alan Chavez (Rhonda). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Romero Family Funeral Home (110 Cleveland St, Pueblo, CO 81004).
