George Tapia Jr, 64, passed away on March 11, 2024. He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Priscilla Tapia; sisters, Rosemary Vallejos and Isabel Tapia; brother, John Paul Tapia; and in - laws, Joe Sawa, Fidela Duran, Vincent Duran and Joseph Duran. He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Christine Sawa Tapia; son, Carlos Diego Gonzales-Duran; siblings, Mary Tapia, Linda Tapia and Anna (Larry) Ortega; in - laws, Ruth Sawa, Ross Duran, Benito Duran, Michael Duran, Tony (Nancy) Duran, Gene and Maryann Sawa, Henry and Jann Sawa; special niece, Luanna Tapia; numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. George was such a humble loving man that helped everyone. He was a handy man and also did mechanic work. He enjoyed listening and dancing to music, being outside and going fishing, He was such a gentle man that loved animal and kids. He will be deeply missed by all who loved him.
