He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Atencio and Fedelina Atencio; his siblings, Bonafacio and Albert Atencio; and his great grandchild Macie Jo Atencio.
He is survived by: his sons, Francisco Atencio Jr. (Aimee) and Brandon Atencio; his grandchildren, Jefree (Alana), Aydon and Brandon Jr.; his great grandchildren, Zoe, Rylee and Iris; and his brothers, Percy Sandoval and Manuel Atencio (Mary Jane). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, March 3rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Romero Family Funeral Home (110 Cleveland St, Pueblo, CO 81004). The inurnment will be held on Wednesday, March 5th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Pikes Peak National Cemetery (10545 Drennan Road, Colorado Springs, CO 80929).
