He was predeceased by: his wife Esther Mary; his parents, George McDonald and Dorthay McDonald; and his siblings, Maxine Matson (McDonald), Robert McDonald and Dean McDonald.

He is survived by: his daughters, Gayle Smith (Dwight) and Janet Randolph (Walter); his grandsons, Micheal Smith, Bennett Smith, Clint Randolph (Amy) and Matthew Randolph (Helgrid); and his great grandchildren, Chamberlain, Arabella and Lukas Randolph.

Memorials may be made to Shriners Hospital for Children.
