Don Deaton Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Don Deaton of Pueblo, Colorado, born in Elk City, Oklahoma, who passed away on July 23, 2021, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence William and Zola Ann Deaton (Yount); his former wife Ann Deaton; his son-in-law Mike Herrera; and his sisters, Pauline Prokup and Vera Mae Teasley.
He is survived by: his wife Marlene Deaton; his daughters, Debbie Herrera of Lamar, CO, Brenda Baker (Rick) of Pueblo, CO, Deidra Schaeffer (Doyle) of Greeley, CO and Barbara Van Campen (Mike) of Holly, CO; and his grandchildren, Bryan (Charlotte), Jason (Amber), Shane (Connie), Javin (Wendy), Josiah (Kamil), Jalea (Caleb), Justin, Dairay (Wayne), Dayne (Carlye), Reese (Ashley), Brandi (Bryce), Tyler (Kaylee) and Preston (Ashlyn). He is also survived by his wife, daughters and friends.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Lamar Christian Church and/or Sangre de Cristo Hospice either direct or in care of the funeral home office.
