Augustin touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Julian Barela and Lucinda Barela; and his children, Little Augie and Tammy Lynn. He is survived by: his wife Suesana Barela; his children, Chris Barela, Maria Barela, Julian Barela (Amanda), Augustina Robinson (Stephen), Sheila Cisneros (Carlos) and Esther Ortiz (Charlie); his siblings, Clara Barela, Eduardo, Ruben, Orlinda, Frances and Maria; and his pet Libby Ann. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren, 3 great-great grandchildren; and in laws.
A rosary will be held on Tuesday, February 25th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:00 AM at the Shrine of St. Therese (300 Goodnight Ave, Pueblo, CO 81004). A Mass will be held on Tuesday, February 25th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location.
