He was predeceased by: his parents, Julian Barela and Lucinda Barela; and his children, Little Augie and Tammy Lynn. He is survived by: his wife Suesana Barela; his children, Chris Barela, Maria Barela, Julian Barela (Amanda), Augustina Robinson (Stephen), Sheila Cisneros (Carlos) and Esther Ortiz (Charlie); his siblings, Clara Barela, Eduardo, Ruben, Orlinda, Frances and Maria; and his pet Libby Ann. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren, 3 great-great grandchildren; and in laws.
