Burkhardt; her children, Melissa Burkhardt-Shields, Forrest Shields of Colorado Springs, Todd and Jen Burkhardt of Centennial, Colorado; her pets, Sadie, Bella, Ryder and Daly; her brother David Thrasher (Barb Thrasher) of Lamar, Missouri; and her niece Tai Thrasher McCoy (Brandon McCoy) of Ozark, Missouri.. She is also survived by many extended family members and friends who were touched by her kindness.
